Neither party has a monopoly on good ideas or good public policy. People, justifiably, have grown weary of deep-rooted partisan politics. Healthy debate is constructive. But, one-party rule like what's happening in Washington comes at the expense of the public and conservative values. It's important to ensure we have cooperation, consideration -- and a balance in power in Frankfort.
