Kentucky's problem is not that we tax too little but we spend too much. I will work to keep taxes low for hardworking families -- while eliminating waste in the state's budget. We need to start by taking a comprehensive look at each state agency to identify ways to cut costs. Just like businesses and families, state government needs to tighten its belt and operate more efficiently on less.
