George Washington said, "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master," yet state governments continue to attempt to legislate more and more power over their citizens. We must fight to keep the government's control minimal. Government operates most efficiently at the local level, and the intricate relationship between the free market and the individual provides better short and long-term success when compared to governmental intervention.
Governmental Objective 1
Keep Government in a Limited Capacity - Government provides a stable foundation for a prosperous society; we must, however, ensure that the government does not "over-step" its bounds and infringe on the rights and liberties of the people of Nebraska.
Governmental Approach 1
Keep It Local - We must stop the invasive nature of our state and federal governments on the rights of people. Localities-not governments hundreds of miles away-know the problems that are facing their communities and how to deal with those problems; local government should have the power to solve their own problems.
