Issue Position

- I am a strong advocate for responsible law enforcement and believe the population of Arkansas deserves a well trained and well equipped police force and local sheriff department.

- I will support legislation that requires law enforcement to hold illegal aliens for deportation when they are arrested and convicted of committing crimes within the state of Arkansas.

- I believe that prisoners within our state penal system should serve the entire length of their sentence and it is our responsibility in state government to ensure that prisoners are not turned back onto our streets due to overcrowding issues. Far too many times convicted felons have been given an early release back into our communities and committed other heinous crimes against individuals and society.
