Congresswoman Debbie Halvorson released the following statement on Armed Forces Day, celebrating the service of our men and women in uniform:
"On Armed Forces Day we pause to remember that across the world, American men and women are fighting for our freedom and helping to keep our nation secure. Members of the armed forces deserve our utmost thanks and appreciation for all they do on behalf of our country. I encourage everyone to thank a member of the services or their families for their sacrifices on behalf of our freedom this Saturday, and to please always keep in mind and the service of our armed forces to our country.
