Barrett Will Fight To Repeal Obamacare

Statement

Today, Congressman J. Gresham Barrett (SC-03) released the following comments in regards to President Obama signing the Senate-passed health care bill into law:

"The voice of the American people may have fallen on deaf ears in the White House and behind the closed doors of Congress, but I have heard the message loud and clear. While the President's signature may be a symbol of the end of the health care fight to some, I believe it is just the beginning. South Carolina will not stand idly by while our constitutional rights are trampled. I will exhaust all means necessary to repeal this government takeover of health care."
