Minnick Statement On Passage Of Jobs Bill

Today the House passed HR 2847, which invests in surface transportation projects and offers tax incentives to businesses for hiring new employees.

"I am pleased that Congress passed a bi-partisan bill today to invest in our nation's transportation infrastructure and to create a better environment for small-business job creation," Minnick said. "Like other Idaho businessmen and women, I know that small businesses will lead us into economic recovery. This legislation helps those businesses, which create 2/3 of all jobs in America, by offering tax incentives for hiring new workers."
