Issue Position

Every American citizen is born with the right to keep and bear arms.

I have always been a proud and unapologetic supporter of the Second Amendment. Every American citizen is born with the right to keep and bear arms. The Democrat party consistantly wants to limit the right of Americans to defend themselves and their families. Statistics have consistently shown that where the right bear arms is restricted, crime rates skyrocket. As the old saying goes, 'If you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns'. I favor the safe and legal ownership of firearms by law abiding citizens and common sense laws to prevent criminals and mentally unstable persons from purchasing them.
