Small businesses are the heart of our economy in Colorado. They employ more than half of Americans, and their success is the key to our country's prosperity. But many small business owners tell me they're still having trouble accessing lines of credit they need to expand. That's why I wrote a letter to President Obama, urging him to ensure small- and medium-sized businesses can continue to grow and hire new employees. We need to recognize that Main Street is just as important as Wall Street when it comes to getting the economy back on track. Below, you'll find more information about the letter as well as updates on work I've been doing this month to ensure our veterans in Colorado get the recognition they deserve for their sacrifices, and to preserve for future generations some of Colorado's most treasured lands. As always, it helps me to hear from Coloradans about the important issues of our day, as I work with members of Congress -- from both sides of the aisle -- to solve the problems confronting us.
