Gov. Ritter Praises Post 9/11 GI Bill For Supporting Troops
Gov. Ritter today praised President Obama's Post 9/11 GI Bill and its "Yellow Ribbon Program" as a powerful investment in America's future by helping military veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars afford to go to college.
"Thirty-five Colorado colleges and universities will partner with the Veterans Administration to help our military heroes cover the cost of a higher education," Gov. Ritter said. "A college education is a door to opportunity, and nobody deserves that opportunity more than those who have defended America's freedoms."
