Pelosi, Larson, House Democrats to Hold Issues Forum on Tuesday on the Economy and National Security
Speaker Nancy Pelosi and incoming Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson announced today that House Democrats will hold an issues forum on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, December 9. The issues forum, which will convene national experts on the economy and national security, will address efforts to get the economy back on track and protect the American people.
"House Democrats are committed to ensuring both the economic and national security of the American people," Pelosi said. "By bringing together the leading minds on these critical issues, Democrats are determined to provide real solutions to the challenges facing our nation."
The issues forum is the latest in an ongoing effort by the 110th Congress to take America in a New Direction. House Democrats have hosted a number of forums on the economy, health care, and infrastructure.
Pelosi and House Democrats will hold a press availability on Tuesday to discuss the issues forum.
