Graham Completes Campaign Swing Through South Carolina

United States Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) completed a campaign swing through the state and met with supporters in Spartanburg, Myrtle Beach, Florence, Columbia, and Aiken.

"South Carolinians understand and appreciate the stakes in this election," said Graham. "They know this is a defining moment in the history of our country. If Barack Obama wins the White House and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are given bigger majorities in Congress, South Carolinians understand their version of ‘change' won't be good. Their ‘change' is completely opposite from what most South Carolinians want to see happen."

In his visits, Graham campaigned on his own behalf and helping his friend and ally John McCain's presidential bid. He also noted to campaign volunteers that it was important the four Republicans in the South Carolina congressional delegation win their reelection efforts.

"I truly appreciate all the hard work being done for Senator McCain, the congressional delegation and for me in my race," said Graham noting Republican activists have already made more than 150,000 phone calls and volunteered more than five thousand hours to turn out voters.

"You can just see the determination on the faces of the thousands of volunteers who are making the phone calls, putting out the signs, and getting voters to the polls," concluded Graham. "We are going to be successful because of their work."
