"Mike secures millions for Third District projects"

Mike is committed to fostering positive economic growth in the community through federal funding for local projects. Since taking office in 2003, Mike has continued much of the important work he began while Mayor of Dayton. As Congressman, he has helped bring over $370 million in federal funding to the Miami Valley, including over $20 million to downtown Dayton. This development money has helped important projects such as Tech Town, Wright Dunbar, redevelopment on Brown and Stewart Streets, and prepared Dayton's northeast quadrant for the new CareSource facility.
