Statement on Today's Vote by Mary Landrieu Blocking OCS Legislation

"She Refuses To Break From The Extremists In Her Own Party"

U.S. Senate candidate John Kennedy released the following statement on today's vote by Mary Landrieu blocking pro-production, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) legislation:

"Mary Landrieu talks a good game on drilling for new American oil, but today's vote proves yet again that she's just talk. Mary Landrieu puts party line politics ahead of doing the right thing for the people. It's the old Washington game of saying one thing and doing another. When Mary Landrieu has a real chance to do something on energy, she refuses to break from the extremists in her own party."
