Issue Position: Encourage the Two Parent Family Structure

Our tax structure and welfare system discourages the stable, married, two parent family by excessively taxing families with children and by forcing the father out of the house to give a single mom welfare benefits based on the number of children. Welfare reform and the forced responsibility of caring for ones own family will increase the importance of the family, and eliminate much of the welfare payments.
