Issue Position: Second Amendment

Throughout my time in Congress I have been a strong supporter of the right to bear arms. As co-chair of the Second Amendment Caucus, I was pleased with the recent Supreme Court decision that overturned the D.C. gun ban. While many in our nation's capital seek to chip away at the right of firearm ownership and possession, the Second Amendment Caucus is committed to defending lawful gun owner's constitutional rights in our nation, without compromise

I firmly believe that stronger anti gun legislation only serves to better arm criminals and endanger law abiding citizens. Since I served as a state legislator, I have worked hard to ensure that Coloradoans can enjoy the full freedom guaranteed to them in the Second Amendment and I will continue to defend that right.
