Graves: Defending Gun Ownership is the Right Decision
U.S. Congressman Sam Graves issued the following statement on the Supreme Court's decision to affirm the right of Americans to own a firearm:
"The Supreme Court made the right decision in standing up for the Constitution and reaffirming the right of Americans to keep and bear arms. Our founding fathers intended the Second Amendment to guarantee this fundamental right. With today's decision, the Court has stopped the attempts to limit individual liberty and confirmed the rights of law-abiding citizens."
"This is a historic victory for sportsmen, law abiding citizens, and the Constitution."
