Senator Roy Brown Appoints Chris Wilcox to Serve as Campaign Manager

Republican gubernatorial candidate Roy Brown today announced the hiring of Chris Wilcox to head his campaign to be Montana's next Governor.

"I am excited to have Chris coming on board to help lead us to victory in November," Brown said. "His deep Montana roots and proven record of expertise will be an incredible asset to our team."

A Miles City native, Wilcox has served as executive director of the Montana Republican Party since January 2007, and has worked in Montana Republican politics since 2002. Prior to serving as the MT GOP's executive director, Wilcox coordinated the GOP's 2006 voter turnout program and coordinated special projects for the Montana GOP. He has also served as a policy aide in Montana's legislature in the 2003 and 2005 sessions.

"Roy Brown is a proven leader and public service minded businessman who shares the values of Montanans," Wilcox said. "I am honored to have the opportunity to work with him and help bring fiscal responsibility and real tax relief back to the governor's office.
