As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Senator Chambliss is committed to ensuring and improving the quality of life for the best equipped and best trained fighting force in the world. During frequent base tours and visits with military officials, troops and their families, Senator Chambliss hears first-hand the concerns of American military men and women. Working to ensure the needs and concerns of military personnel and their families is a top priority. Additionally, several of the world's finest military aircraft - C-130s, F-22A and C-17s - are manufactured and maintained in Georgia. A steadfast advocate for all of Georgia's military installations, Senator Chambliss remains committed to ensuring Georgia's bases have the right missions and resources they need to continue making critical contributions to our national security.
