Rep. Dent Named Co-Chair of Congressional Task Force on the Delaware River Basin

U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent (PA-15) has taken the role of Pennsylvania's Co-Chair on the Delaware River Basin Task Force (DRBTF), a bipartisan, multi-state Congressional caucus focusing on the basin and watershed.

"The Delaware River and its watershed are of vital importance to our region," Congressman Dent said. "My role with this caucus is an opportunity to help solve regional flooding issues and address the priorities of our river communities."

The DRBTF works closely with the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) and other appropriate agencies. The other state co-chairs of the DRBTF are Rep. Mike Castle of Delaware, Rep. Maurice Hinchey of New York and Rep. Rush Holt of New Jersey. Congressman Dent succeeds Rep. Jim Gerlach as Pennsylvania's co-chair.
