Matheson Secures Funding for Community Health Centers, Kids ER Care
Congressman Jim Matheson said projects benefiting Utah's Community Health Centers receive funding in the annual Labor, Health and Human Services (HR 3043) spending measure that is scheduled to pass the House Thursday.
"For many Utah families, particularly in the rural part of the state, community health centers are the only option for meeting their health care needs. Their dedicated and caring health care providers offer treatment, monitoring and wellness services that many Utah parents and children cannot get anywhere else," said Matheson.
