HOLT: Reverend Sharpton, nice to see you. How are you?
CURRY: You know Lester.
Rev. SHARPTON: Hi, Lester. How you doing?
HOLT: Good.
CURRY: And-you know, you've got a big night coming up on Saturday.
Mr. SHARPTON: Yes.
CURRY: Tell us about how you're feeling about that. You're going to be...
Rev. SHARPTON: Well, I'm-you know, it's the first time in my career I'm a little nervous about going on stage.
CURRY: No!
Rev. SHARPTON: I'm hosting "Saturday Night Live," and it's going to be exciting, but it's not my usual thing on Saturday night. Usually I'm getting ready for a sermon on Sunday.
CURRY: Mm-hmm.
Rev. SHARPTON: Only God knows what's going to happen Saturday night.
CURRY: We're going to have to tune in...
Rev. SHARPTON: God and Lorne Michaels.
CURRY: We're going to have to find out.
HOLT: They they're walking you through it OK, though, I trust.
Rev. SHARPTON: They're walking me through it. It's going to be fun. And, hopefully, if everybody learns how to laugh together, we can learn how to live together.
HOLT: There you go.
CURRY: Well, thank you. And thank you for being here to help us.
Rev. SHARPTON: And thank you for what you're doing for the kids.
CURRY: And wish everybody a happy Christmas.
HOLT: Well, we've-we've had a lot of surprise helpers coming down here, taking donations from folks who visit us here at 30 Rockefeller Center. Don't forget to visit. And if you can't, you can certainly join in the annual toy drive by logging on to our Web site. You can check and contribute, or go directly to amazon.com/today.
Stay with us. Coming up in the next half-hour, "The Last Samurai" and...
