Wasserman Schultz Statement on Supreme Court's Decision on Partial Birth Abortions

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz released the following statement this afternoon following the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold the ban on partial birth abortions:

"This callous decision sends a crystal clear message to a new generation of young women that they must not be complacent and they cannot take their reproductive rights for granted," said Rep. Wasserman Schultz. "These women have lived their entire lives with the freedom to make educated decisions about their health. We cannot allow their rights to be denied by a movement that places greater value on its blind philosophy than on the health of women."
