Ros-Lehtinen Pleased With Latest Pew Study That Shows Unemployment Among Hispanics Fell Sharply, While Wages For Them Rose

Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen issued the following statement on the Pew Hispanic Center's study that shows that unemployment among Hispanics fell sharply in the past year, while wages for Hispanic workers rose:

"All of us know that our families work very hard to make sure they achieve the American Dream of homeownership and prosperity. The Pew Center's study demonstrates that our policies of lower taxes, better education for all, and a strong national defense have given Hispanics and all Americans the confidence they need to work hard, save and make a difference for their families. Much work needs to be done, but I believe we are on the right path to economic freedom for our nation's Hispanic communities."
