INHOFE STATEMENT ON SEPTEMBER 11 ANNIVERSARY
WASHINGTON-U.S. Sen. James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.), today made the following statement on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks two years ago.
"This is a difficult day for all Americans," Inhofe said. "Many will commemorate this anniversary with personal reflection or by attending memorial services, as my colleagues and I have done today at the U.S. Capitol. We pray for all victims of terrorism and their families and hope that these ceremonies might in some way comfort us.
"While we mourn our loss of two years ago, we also honor the brave men and women of our military who continue to wage the war on terror. It is important we remember they are fighting to protect our freedoms and increase our security both at home and abroad."
