We Will Never Forget

As we approach the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, it is hard to believe that five years has passed since that clear Tuesday morning that forever changed our nation. To honor the anniversary, I plan to attend a memorial service -- United in Courage, Community and Commitment -- in Shanksville at the Flight 93 National Memorial.

We will never forget the courageous actions of those who refused to lie down in the face of terror and as a result, saved American lives. The Flight 93 Memorial, along with the memorials in New York and at the Pentagon, will be a place where future generations of Americans can come to honor those who sacrificed their lives.

I continue to pray for the families and friends of those who lost their lives on September 11th. May God bless you and your families as we continue to work towards a safer world.
