Thomas Jefferson once said: "Liberty consists in the freedom to do everything which injures no one else; hence the exercise of the natural rights of each man has no limits except those which assure to the other members of the society the enjoyment of the same rights. These limits can only be determined by law."
I truly believe this.
I have fought for freedom on four separate occasions. I have seen the joy of people liberated from oppression and share the joy of their new found freedom. I hold freedom and the preservation of those freedoms as my primary mission in life.
Americans, through the blood and sacrifice of their forefathers as well as subsequent generation have earned and preserved their right to freedom. They should be free to do as they please, as long as they do not infringe upon the freedom and liberty of other Americans. Government has no business interfering with what you do in the privacy of your home.
Just as I decided to serve my country as a member of the military, literally risking my life to defend the freedom and liberty we all enjoy in this country, you have my solemn promise that I will defend it just as vigorously as your Congressman.
May we never take for granted that which has been purchased at so great a price. May we realize that it takes courage to win freedom and it takes character to keep it. Remind us that false freedom does what it wants to do and true freedom does what it ought to do." -COL Kinder, Post Chaplain, Ft Huachuca, AZ
