1. "Good Government."

Good laws and public policy have a foundation in morality. Love thy neighbor, thou shalt not kill, don't steal, don't tell lies are moral principles which apply to the activities of the legislators. Good intentions do not justify evil means.

Every congressman takes an oath to support and defend the constitution. An honest man takes an oath seriously.

Your congressperson is elected to represent his constituents, using good judgement. Simply following the party line and voting on bills he hasn't read is not using good judgment, not doing the job he was elected to do.
