STATEMENT BY CONGRESSMAN JEB BRADLEY ON NORTH KOREA'S MISSILE TEST-LAUNCHES
First District Congressman Jeb Bradley today issued the following statement regarding North Korea's multiple missile test-launches:
"This is a grave concern for the United States and its allies. The test-firing of these missiles has proved North Korea's isolation from the international community and its willingness to threaten its neighbors and the United States with nuclear missiles.
"It is critical at this point in time that every diplomatic effort be made to resolve this dangerous situation. The United Nations Security Council must meet today to discuss the situation and exert all diplomatic measures possible on North Korea. Talks must also resume between the six regional nations, including the United States, Japan, China, Russia, and South Korea.
"Given the provocative actions by North Korea and the potentially dangerous situation with Iran, we need to do everything in our power to protect Americans by strengthening our missile defense. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I have been a strong proponent of strengthening our missile defense program and will continue to support efforts that protect Americans."
