Ralph Norman Officially Files For Congress
Rock Hill, SC -State Representative Ralph Norman officially filed paperwork with the Republican Party of South Carolina at a press conference this morning to declare his candidacy for U.S. Congress in South Carolina's 5th Congressional District.
"The working families of the 5th District have a conservative choice for Congress in 2006," said Norman, "We have had a tremendous outpouring of support all over the district from voters who are rejecting the status quo and are ready for change. Together, we continue to build a united, broad-based coalition to make sure that South Carolina values are heard loud and strong in Washington."
Henry Eldridge, Chairman of the York County Republican Party presided over Wednesday's press conference. "You still have these guys up in Washington who have gotten comfortable and believe that as long as they bring home the bacon they'll be fine. I believe voters in the 5th District are looking for some principled conservative leadership in Washington, and voters don't need to look any further than Ralph Norman."
