Rehberg Votes For Devastating Cuts In Health Care And Education Funding
(BILLINGS, Mont.) - Monica Lindeen, Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, today blasted Rep. Dennis Rehberg's vote that nearly cost rural health care $141 million.
"Dennis Rehberg has clearly lost sight of the issues Montanans deal with on a daily basis," Lindeen said.
"While blindly voting in lock-step with Republican leadership, Rehberg has forgotten his rural friends and neighbors," she added.
"Twenty two members of his own party saw how damaging this bill would be and courageously voted no' to help defeat this outrageous spending bill," Lindeen said.
"Montanans need a representative who is in touch with the needs of Montanans and who will represent the interests of all Montanans first," she added.
