House Approves Veterans' Benefits Improvement Act

Today, the U.S. House approved the Veterans' Benefits Improvement Act (S. 1235), legislation to improve housing for disabled veterans and provide additional assistance to homeless veterans. Additionally, the bill addresses veterans' related issues pertaining to insurance and employment.

U.S. Rep. John Campbell (R-Irvine), a member of the Veterans' Affairs Committee said, "This legislation will modernize a number of benefits to meet the current challenges faced by many veterans. As a supporter of the bill, I am glad that so many Members of Congress worked together to approve this important legislation which provides aid to many of the brave men and women who have served our nation."
