Congressman Flake Spotlights Egregious Earmark of the Week $25,000 for Mifflintown, Pennsylvania for a Playground
Washington, D.C. - Republican Congressman Jeff Flake, who represents Arizona's Sixth District, today highlighted a pork project contained in the Transportation-Treasury-HUD appropriations bill for fiscal year 2006.
This week's egregious earmark: $25,000 to Mifflintown, Pennsylvania for the development of a playground facility.
"With pork like this, I can see why Congress' fiscal reputation is sliding," said Flake.
