Franks Applauds President's Visit to Arizona

Congressman Trent Franks (AZ-02) applauds President Bush for visiting the state of Arizona to discuss immigration. The President outlined his plan to enhance homeland security by securing the border and strengthening the enforcement of immigration laws.

Congressman Trent Franks had this to say regarding the presidential visit to his home state:

"It was a great honor to be with President Bush here in Arizona."

"President Bush is a noble and principled leader of the United States of America. He consistently battles against all the odds and endeavors to promote humanity despite liberal criticism and condemnation."

Franks went on to say that despite recent polling numbers and mentions of popularity; President Bush has been and continues to be an esteemed and resolute chief that will one day be recognized as one of the finest presidents in our nation's history.

"What we find in President Bush is a man who leads on the frontline on the basis of conviction and principle. He is not a man whose decisions will ever be based on polling data, but instead on the future of generations to come." Franks continued, "It is because of his will to protect the freedoms of America and defend human liberties across the globe, that he will ultimately be renowned as an historic figure that lead our nation and the world through the battle against tyranny and terrorism."
