Mikulski Statement On Death Of Chief Justice William Rehnquist

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (D-MD) issued the following statement today following the death of Chief Justice William Rehnquist:

"I was saddened to learn last night of the death of Chief Justice Rehnquist, who has been battling thyroid cancer for the past year. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Chief Justice's children and family. He will be remembered for his intelligent and legal excellence, as well as his dedication and unwavering commitment to the federal judiciary during his long tenure."
