Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the following statement after President Donald J. Trump today signed an executive order to roll back the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule:
"Today, President Trump is rolling back one of the most flawed Obama-era policies: the Waters of the United States rule. This dangerous rule would have given the federal government a say in the private property rights of millions of Americans. I have fought against this dangerous policy since its introduction and am proud to join President Trump in standing up for farmers and landowners across the nation."
