Boozman Supports Shulkin's Nomination to Lead VA

U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) released the following statement supporting Dr. David Shulkin's nomination to serve as Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA):
"I had a very good visit with Dr. Shulkin last night where he reaffirmed his commitment to modernizing the VA and bringing accountability to the department while ensuring our veterans have access to all the benefits they have earned. I've always appreciated Dr. Shulkin's responsiveness to Arkansas veterans during his tenure as undersecretary for health and will support his nomination to lead the department. I am confident that as Secretary, he will strive to ensure our veterans get the timely, quality care they deserve."
