Ron serves as a member of the Electoral College

On Monday, Ron Estes had the honor with five other Kansas Republicans to serve as members of the Electoral College. Kansas Electors met in Topeka at the Kansas State Capitol to officially cast Kansas six Electoral College votes for President-Elect Donald J. Trump and Vice-President Elect Michael R. Pence.

"It is such an honor to cast a ballot on behalf of the people of Kansas for the next President of the United States. I am looking forward to a unified conservative, Republican government in Washington beginning in January," said Estes.

Electoral College votes will now be sent to Congress to be opened and officially counted and the results certified in January. President-Elect Trump and Vice-President Elect Pence will be sworn in on January 20, 2017.
