Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding President-elect Trump's intention to nominate U.S. Representative Tom Price, M.D. for United States Health and Human Services Secretary.

"Tom Price will be an outstanding leader for the Department of Health and Human Services. During his time in the House, Tom has been at the forefront of the challenges confronting health care in our nation. Most importantly, as a physician, he knows the importance of listening to patients and health care providers as the new administration seeks to repair the damage caused by Obamacare. President-elect Trump has picked an extremely qualified person for this important position and I look forward to supporting his confirmation."
