U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) today issued the following statement regarding President-elect Donald Trump's nomination of Congressman Tom Price, M.D. (Ga.-06) to serve as the head of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS):

"Congressman Tom Price is a physician, a respected member of the House of Representatives, and a leading voice in the effort to repeal and replace Obamacare.
