Congressman Doug Collins, member of the House Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement regarding the FBI's completion of its re-investigation of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:
Today's announcement from FBI Director Comey highlights a frustrating trend. New evidence continues to demonstrate that Mrs. Clinton's actions have been both reckless and extensive, yet she has not been held accountable. My fellow service members and I understand the importance of safeguarding classified material. We also know that failing to do so is criminal.
The FBI's decision to end its investigation into Mrs. Clinton's unsecured handling of classified information is unacceptable to those of us who work to keep our country safe and who long to see the rules we live by applied across the board.
