House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today:

"This weekend's attack on innocent Israeli civilians in Jerusalem was a reprehensible act of terror. Palestinian leaders need to stop the incitement that leads to such attacks, including cessation of incitement against Israelis and, in the case of Fatah leadership, actually praising the attack. The United States Congress will continue to stand together in strong bipartisan support for Israel's security as it seeks the secure peace its people deserve."
