It is quite possible that the provision of health care is regulated more than any other industry in America, which explains why it is the most screwed up, expensive and frustrating for all parties involved. Health care is a good like any other, that is provided most efficiently and in a manner most fulfilling to each individual by the market, without government interference. Health care is a deeply personal choice, and a matter over which individuals have immense personal control. Giving up responsibility for one's health care will necessarily result in giving up one's rights to life style choices.
