Access to quality, affordable healthcare defines a successful society. We depend on healthy citizens to maintain healthy families and communities.Our economic growth depends on access to preventative care as well as the ability to be treated when we are sick.

In the House I supported HB 1696 which successfully reauthorized the New Hampshire Health Protection Program which has brought healthcare to 50,000 of our friends and neighbors.

I support women's access to reproductive healthcare, quality prenatal care, and adequate, appropriate, and accessible care for throughout the entire spectrum of life.

I believe as we work together to address substance use issues in our state, we will also begin to acknowledge the importance of mental and emotional health to the well-being of our communities and our state. We will move to prevent and treat mental health issues as vigorously as we work to prevent and treat physical ones.
