I believe every single family and individual in Dearborn should have access to quality and affordable healthcare, no matter their income status. As a national and state health policy expert, I advise health systems on the best strategies to offer the highest quality and most affordable healthcare to their patients. Despite Michigan's expansion of Medicaid, there still persists an issue of underinsured citizens. I believe local and state governments should work together to make healthcare accessible to all, decrease the cost of prescription drugs, increase immunization rates, and improve population health by supporting local community organizations.
