Issue Position

Thanks to Republican leadership and a veto proof majority in the House (nearly veto proof) and Senate, our taxes will be reduced slowly over the next couple of years. I firmly believe that Missouri citizens do a much better job of spending their own hard earned dollars than the government ever will. I am committed to lowering burdensome taxes for Missouri citizens and businesses, while confirming our current tax dollars are used wisely. I support reforming our tax code to make it simpler and fair while reducing the rates paid, especially for our suffering lower and middle classes in an economy that isn't producing enough jobs.
