I fully support and applaud the Supreme Court's decision in the Obergefell v. Hodges case and will work to make sure that this law is upheld and the rights of our brothers and sisters in the LGBTQ community are protected. Furthermore, the divisive rhetoric and unconstitutional legislation introduced by our GOP leaders only serve to create more contention among Tennesseans and cost the state billions in federal funds.
