McKinley Announces Funding for Worthington Volunteer Fire Department

Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E. (WV-1) announced that the Worthington Volunteer Fire Department in Marion County will receive a grant for $43,272 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA's) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program. These funds are designed to help strengthen operations and safety.

"Our local volunteer firefighters put their lives on the line to protect our homes and communities. It is essential that they have the tools necessary to respond to each emergency. This grant will provide the Worthington Volunteer Fire Department additional resources to ensure the safety of local residents," said McKinley.
