Issue Position: The Drug Epidemic

Issue Position

While in the Legislature, I worked diligently with federal, state and
local authorities, educators, and community members to introduce legislation that would not only fight drug trafficking in our State, but
also help those suffering from addiction/substance abuse to get the assistance they need. I also introduced forward thinking legislation
that would bring drug prevention education programs to the classrooms of our students. Educating our youth on the devastating effects of substance abuse is of vital importance.
