Location: Las Vegas, NV
Issues: Abortion

Former Nevada Attorney General and candidate for U.S. Senate Catherine Cortez Masto released the following statement after Jon Ralston reported last night that Governor Brian Sandoval was considering withdrawing his support for Donald Trump if Trump wins the Republican nomination:

"I urge my opponents, Sharron Angle and Congressman Heck, to follow the Governor's lead and withdraw their support for Donald Trump if he wins the Republican nomination. It is time for politicians in both Parties to abandon Donald Trump and his hateful rhetoric like calling Mexicans "rapists,' questioning President Obama's legitimacy as President, and "punishing' women who have abortions. As Nevada's Attorney General, I stood up to scam artists, violent drug dealers, human traffickers, and the Big Banks. I hope my opponents on the other side of the aisle can find the same courage to stand up to Donald Trump."
